Electricity Solutions Limited (ES) is an Independent Connections Provider offering a full turnkey alternative to the host Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) for the design and delivery of electricity connections.
We are fully accredited to work in each DNO region with particular emphasis across the North West, Midlands and the South.
Electricity Solutions was registered at Companies House in 2006 and started trading as a project management company in March 2007. Partial accreditation was secured by the end of the summer allowing ES to provide electricity connections under Ofgem’s Competition in Connections initiative, recognising the poor service levels offered to housing and industrial/commercial developers by the local utilities. We currently have full accreditation up to 11kV and partial accreditation up to 66kV.
Our Business Structure
Electricity Solutions is wholly owned by Kevin and Gill Bergin who both have extensive knowledge and experience in the electricity distribution industry having worked in Scottish Power and other major utility construction companies.
Sectors
To date we have secured contracts throughout the UK with particular emphasis on connections for Utility Scale Solar Projects across the South and the Isle of Wight with major solar developers in this sector.
We also aim to continue our success in the Industrial Commercial sectors and have recently appointed a new Business Development Manager with over 30 years in the industry to develop our order book across the Midlands.

We are a small but rapidly growing business with a personal approach and unrivalled experience levels throughout our business from Director level to Site Staff who are committed to delivering excellence to our customers.
Multi-Utility
We are also able to offer gas and water connections as part of a multi-utility offering through working with our preferred partners for the Residential and Industrial/Commercial sectors.
Restoration and Repairs
In addition to our New Connections division we also undertake emergency support and fault repairs for IDNO’s in the North West through our dedicated jointing teams.
